My first blog post and there is one important thing I want to say . . . I'm glad you're here!

Today is my Mom's birthday. These leaves remind me of her because they always turn fabulous colors just in time for her special day . . . Like her; they flutter around, so bright and cheerful, and always make people smile. She would have been 87. I miss her. She would say that what I'm doing right now (writing this blog post) is just "so great"" That's what she always said about anything I did. I love her for that. HaPpY BiRtHdAy to my most ardent and loving supporter.
