My path into abstraction began years ago and quite accidentally in a way,  but then again, I can see how the connection from abstracted landscape led me to explore painting even more intuitively.  It's absolutely freeing to be able to work in this way, and although abstract work is not for everyone, It's sometimes interesting to rely on feelings instead of recognition for the viewer.
